My favourite thing to do when I have writer’s block is to step away from my desk and then run full sprint back at it from the other side of the house. I don’t know why but it seems to work.
If you’re trying to sit down and write and something isn’t right for whatever reason, you are allowed to walk away. No one is forcing you to do your hobby.
If you don’t reach a word goal one day, don’t allow that to become your excuse for why you don’t try to reach it the next day.
Do not worry about the book title. Do not worry about the book cover. Worry about the book and actually finishing it.
Listen to the words of wisdom of published authors and their journeys. (But also listen to me…mainly me).
You don’t need to be like any author but yourself.
If a story idea isn’t working, you don’t have to keep going with it. Your pride isn’t worth your happiness.
